These are neat, but do they appeal to me because I already think of reading as a trip to a fantastic new place? If a kid who read Magic Tree House did not experience that "Wow, I am in Camelot meeting King Arthur!" feeling; will he later want to pick up Percy Jackson and go to Camp Half Blood?
